A comforting dish featuring honey, garlic, sausage, and sweet potatoes, perfect for family gatherings and cozy dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Honey
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 lb Smoked sausage (sliced)
  • 2 large Sweet potatoes (peeled and cubed)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary (to taste)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, then cut them into cubes.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the sweet potatoes; sauté for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Push sweet potatoes aside and add sausage to the skillet; cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add garlic, herbs, and honey, stirring to combine and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
  6. Transfer everything to a baking dish and roast in the oven for 20 minutes.

Notes

Serve hot, garnish with fresh herbs. Leftovers can be reheated for meal prep.
